How do I play it on an iPhone?
Tap the “Open me!” tag on the front of the accordion. The screen turns sideways and the bellows open. Hold your iPhone in landscape with both hands, put one thumb on each of the dotted circles, and move your thumbs together and apart, as if squeezing an accordion.
How do I play it on iPhone Duo?
Open the phone and hold one half in each hand. Close it a little, then open it again: the hinge is the bellows. Squeeze faster for a louder, brighter note. Close the phone to get back to the front and the settings.
I’m squeezing but nothing happens
It needs both thumbs on the screen at once; one thumb alone does nothing. Also check that the sound is up, because the app is silent until the bellows move.
What’s the difference between Auto and Manual?
In Auto, pick a song from the brass plate and every squeeze plays the next note. In Manual, how far the bellows are open picks the note (the lamps on the bellows show which one) and squeezing sounds it. Choose a key and a scale to make up your own tunes; pentatonic never sounds wrong.
Which songs are included?
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star; Mary Had a Little Lamb; Row, Row, Row Your Boat; London Bridge; This Old Man; and Hot Cross Buns.
How do I change the sound?
Close the accordion to get to the front, then use the rocker switches: Deep, Sweet or Full, and chords on or off.
Does it need the internet, or collect anything?
No. It works offline and collects nothing. See the privacy policy.
